HELLO FRIENDS,While presenting an information for a web site, you cannot put all the information on a single page.So,You need to put that information on different pages.The user can access the related information only if the web pages are linked properly.An image can be linked to some other page or a piece of text can be linked to a page.Being a hypertext markup language,HTML facilitates you to create links.

The ANCHOR element (A) is a very important element in HTML.It marks the text as a link.It has several attributes,but either NAME or HREF attribute is mandatory.
